Joel is Co-Head of the Motion Picture Talent department at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency based in Los Angeles with offices in New York, London, Nashville, and Beijing. He works in the Los Angeles office and represents many of the world’s leading actors.
Prior to becoming an agent, Joel ran Nick Nolte’s production company Kingsgate Films, which produced Affliction starring Nick Nolte and James Coburn and Simpatico starring Nick Nolte, Jeff Bridges, and Sharon Stone.
In 1999, Joel left his post at Kingsgate to become an agent at the William Morris Agency. He joined CAA in 2004.
Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Joel received his B.A. from Skidmore College.
Jack is a Talent Agent and Co-Department Head in the Motion Picture division at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), an entertainment and sports agency based in Los Angeles with offices in New York, London, Nashville, Beijing, St. Louis, Chicago, and Stockholm. He is based out of the Los Angeles office and serves as a creative advisor to actors, writers, directors, producers and financers.
Jack was born and raised in Florida. He began playing tennis at an early age and went on to become one of the top junior players in America. He accepted a tennis scholarship to The University of Florida where he graduated with a degree in finance. He then received his law degree from The University of Florida. He practiced law for approximately three years at the New York-based law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges, in the Corporate Department, with a specific emphasis on Structured Finance and Private Equity. Jack began his career in entertainment at CAA in Los Angeles, mentoring under partner Kevin Huvane. He has been a talent agent for approximately 8 years; his clients include Tom Hardy, Chris Hemsworth, Danny McBride, Andrew Garfield, Jessica Chastain, Martin McDonagh, Alexander Skarsgard, Shia LaBeouf, Keira Knightley, Olga Kurylenko and Michael Shannon, amongst others.
